Our Story

VAELLI wasn’t born from a classroom or the traditional path. It came from instinct, curiosity, and a lifelong pull toward creating things with my hands and my mind.

I’m Scottish and Iranian - two cultures that value craft, detail, and meaning. At the same time, I was always drawn to art. I spent my childhood drawing, painting, playing three instruments, and trying to understand how things connect beneath the surface. Those habits shaped the way I see the world, and later the way I make perfume.

Perfume didn’t enter my life as a trend or a business idea. 

It started with a simple desire:

To make something real. 

Something honest.

 

So I began teaching myself.

 

I learned how naturals behave.

I learned how synthetics elevate them.

I started making tinctures, blending resins, studying oils, aging materials, and building formulas from zero. Not by copying, but by understanding what each material actually does.

The deeper I went, the more it became clear to me that perfume is personal. No two people smell the same scent the same way. Skin chemistry, warmth, body, memory. Everything changes the scent once it touches someone.

That made me want to create perfumes that actually feel meaningful.

 

VAELLI reflects that mindset.

I use rare naturals because they carry depth and soul.

I use synthetics because they let those naturals reach their full potential. I use structure because the craft deserves it and I let instinct guide the story behind each perfume.

VAELLI isn’t trying to fit into any category.

It’s not chasing trends.

It’s not trying to sound like anything else.

It’s simply me, my background, my art, my curiosity, and my respect for perfumery put into a bottle.

This brand will grow at its own pace, and every creation is made with intention, patience, and honesty.
